New Home Pages Launched

Pages geared toward specific audiences

Have you seen the new home pages? On May 29, three new home page designs were unveiled as the first step to improve the website both for people within CU Denver | Anschutz and for outside audiences. See the communication posted in the May 21 and 28 editions of Today for the background on our new web strategy and the Intranet Project.

Three New Home Pages The redesigned university home page builds awareness of the consolidated university and its programs and services among external audiences, including prospective students; current and prospective business, research and community partners; and potential patients. The new home page, a responsive layout, adapts to any device it is viewed on—from desktop monitors to a variety of mobile devices. A new home page for faculty and staff, accessed directly from the top navigation bar of the redesigned university home page, provides a gateway to the internal website being built as part of the larger university intranet. Faculty and staff can access information and services specific to their work from this new internal home page. With the new faculty and staff page in place, the intranet project team can start moving internal university content from the public-facing website to our new internal website. : A new home page for current students, also accessed directly from the top navigation bar of the redesigned university home page, gives students a direct path to student services, course login and other topics salient to active university life.

The launch of the new home pages is not only a significant step toward improved services for our different audiences, but it also marks the kick-off to the university’s internal website – part of the larger intranet project.
