University Web Services (UWS)

Once you make a request it must be approved by the University. After approval requests are usually processed within 48 hours, however when the request volume is high it can take more time to process a request. If your request is time sensitive please indicate this in your request.

Make sure your request follows the appropriate format; a request will take longer to process if the format is not correct. The university uses a subdirectory format, for example:

• Redirect text: http://www.ucdenver.edu/admissions
• Landing page URL: http://www.ucdenver.edu/admissions/Pages/index.aspx

If you have questions about the format, please consult the URL policies and procedures. Currently, schools and colleges are using sub domains before the university domain. For example:

• http://medschool.ucdenver.edu/surgery
• http://spa.ucdenver.edu/cis

• Do not fill out the form below while logged in to SharePoint.
• Do not request more than one redirect per site
• Do not request a redirect for a subsite instead of a site.
  • What qualifies as a site? Valid sites are: schools, colleges, departments, academic programs and service sites like ecollege, blackboard, UCD Access or webmail.

• Do not send a request by email
• Do not request a redirect before you have finished building your landing page.
• Do not request a site for a domain other than http://www.ucdenver.edu
• Do not request a redirect using a reserved word, see our policy page for a list of reserved words.
