Education is the primary focus of every university or college. As an integral part of this community, the University Police Department offers education as well.
There are numerous classes and training topics to choose from, including crime prevention, personal safety and risk reduction. Most classes and training sessions can be individualized for specific departments or groups. Some classes are offered to general audiences at the university on a regular basis, while others can be designed based upon suggestions for new materials. Sometimes, the education is simply in the form of an answered question.
