At the University of Colorado Denver | Anschutz Medical Campus the ultimate goal of strategic planning is to ensure the health of the university so it can continue to carry out its mission and serve its stakeholders. The Office of Institutional Accreditation, Strategic Planning, and Effectiveness (OIASPE) has primary responsibility for supporting all academic and administrative units in their planning and evaluation activities by serving as a resource on assessment, evaluation, planning, and quality improvement. The office maintains official strategic planning documents, provides data and analysis to members of the University Planning and Accreditation Committee (UPAC) and executive leadership to facilitate periodic strategic plan review, and coordinates with other units engaged in planning (e.g., Office of Institutional Research, Planning, and Analysis, Budget & Finance, University Planning) to ensure consistency and alignment with the university's strategic plan. OIASPE maintains a reporting system (IE Reporting System) so that academic and administrative units can provide data and information related to their activities that are linked to the university's strategic plan. Beginning in 2009, The Annual Report on Institutional Effectiveness (ARIE) was produced to summarize and highlight key accomplishments related to the strategic plan. Copies of all ARIE reports are available by clicking on the "Reports" link from this page.
