What's New

in Institutional Research & Effectiveness

Please check in from time to time to find out what's new in IR.

November 2016:

  • Faculty Report of Professional Activities (FRPA) -- The online FRPA system is available year-round through our User Portal and has just been updated with the CU-SIS data for Section IIB (Courses Taught) and Section IIC (Individual Student Instruction) for Spring 2016 EOT, Summer 2016 EOT and Fall 2016 Current.

  • Clery Crime Report -- The reports for the Denver Campus and the Anschutz Medical Campus are now available on our website by linking the Clery Crime Report menu item either at the top of the page or on the QuickLinks menu on the left. For additional information about Clery Crime reporting requirements, please visit the Security on Campus website.

Fall/Winter 2016:

  • nessie02_tp_resized.pngNational Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) -- During February – June 2016, the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE – pronounced “Nessie”) was administered to University of Colorado Denver freshmen and seniors.  This survey provides an opportunity for our students to let us know what they think about their CU Denver experiences and tell us how engaged they are with us and our faculty/staff/services/educational activities.  OIRE has received the data from NSSE and is developing a wide variety of reports based upon these data.

Summer 2016:

  • OIRE's New Staff -- OIRE is proud to welcome two new members:  Becky Bui and Ian Jutsum!  Becky comes to us from Northwestern University in Chicago, where she worked and where she earned a degree in predictive analytics.  Ian was born in Rochester, New York, but comes to us by way of the University of Pittsburgh.  We welcome both to our ranks, and look forward to benefitting from their experience and expertise!
