Online directories store and organize information about people, departments, computer systems, etc., and provide people and computers controlled access to that information. The University maintains two directories for general access: The Electronic Directory, commonly referred to as E-Directory and available at http://directory.ucdenver.edu, and a Microsoft Active Directory.
Faculty / Staff and Students, Constituents, Prospective Students and Guests.
Directory services provide information about faculty, staff, students, departments and resources to a variety of applications and services on the campus. People most often look for information about individuals, such as telephone numbers and physical and e-mail addresses.
The E-Directory blends ISIS, HR and campus data using policies, business rules and process within the University. You can search by first or last name or department name. Individuals can expand their own entries with additional information and choose which information they wish to present. Optional information can be added by individuals, e.g., optional alternate office location, optional alternate phone.
