There is no cost to add or disconnect a university phone (303-724-XXXX or 303-315-XXXX). However, if you are requesting a new line there is a $22.50 monthly charge. Please contact our Help Desk at 303-724-HELP to coordinate this.

AHEC bills a $45/hourly rate to add or disconnect an AHEC phone (303-556-XXXX or 303-352-XXXX). Also, if you are adding a new line, you will need purchase a phone. Please contact our Help Desk at ucd-its-helpdesk@ucdenver.edu or 303-724-HELP to coordinate this request.

The monthly charge for each phone line is $22.50. A complete list of our rates can be found online at Rates.

If you call a phone and get a message stating the phone has not been activated, it means that the user has not set up their voicemail. For questions or assistance with voicemail please contact our Help Desk at 303-724-HELP.

To move a phone to a new location on either campus, there is a $45 charge. Please contact our Help Desk at ucd-its-helpdesk@ucdenver.edu or 303-724-HELP to coordinate the move or fill out the Phone Request form at Phone Request.

To change the name on a phone on the IT Services Billing Report, please send an email to its.billing@ucdenver.edu. Please be sure to include the phone number and the new name.

To change the name on the display of the phone, please contact our Help Desk at ucd-its-helpdesk@ucdenver.edu or 303-724-HELP.

Please contact our Help Desk at ucd-its-helpdesk@ucdenver.edu or 303-724-HELP to request phones with a 303-724-XXXX or 303-315-XXXX prefix be disconnected.

To cancel a 303-556-XXXX or a 303-352-XXXX please complete the online phone request form. This form can be found at Phone Request. AHEC bills a $45/hourly rate to disconnect the line.

If you are having trouble with your phone line or equipment, please contact our Help Desk at 303-724-HELP to set up a trouble ticket. This will create a request to send a telecom tech to your location.

There are two kinds of virtual lines.

• Virtual DID: A virtual DID (direct inward dial) is a secondary outside line coming into a single phone. This allows for one physical phone to house and answer calls coming from two separate 303-724-XXXX or 303-315-XXXX extensions. There is an additional $22.50 monthly charge for each virtual DID line.
• Rollover: A virtual is a secondary internal line coming into a phone (usually a 1xxxx number) which allows you to place a person on hold and answer a second line.

To change the name on a virtual line call, you can either call the Help Desk at ucd-its-helpdesk@ucdenver.edu or 303-724-HELP and request to make a name change on that extension or complete an online phone request form at Phone Request.

Please contact our Help Desk at ucd-its-helpdesk@ucdenver.edu or 303-724-HELP to request the virtual line be cancelled.

File and Print accounts cost $10 monthly. A complete list of our rates can be found online at Rates.

To change the name of a central server account, an authorized individual in the department will need to submit the File Server Account form at https://itservices-web.ucdenver.edu/forms/.

To cancel central server access, an authorized individual in the department will need submit the File Server Account form at https://itservices-web.ucdenver.edu/forms/.

New pagers can be activated and picked up at our Pager Desk which is located in Building 500 on the Fourth Floor. For questions about our available pager types and services please contact the Pager Desk at 303-724-0400.

If your department requires a large number of new pagers please contact the Pager Desk via email to its-csr@ucdenver.edu approximately two (2) weeks in advance to make arrangements.

To change the name on a pager, please email its.billing@ucdenver.edu. Please be sure to include the pager number and the new name.

To change the speedtype or UCH cost center that a pager is currently billing to, please send an email to its.billing@ucdenver.edu. In the email please be sure to include the pager number and the new speedtype or UCH cost center.

Pagers can be canceled either in person at the Pager Desk in Building 500 on the Fourth Floor or by sending an email to its-csr@ucdenver.edu. In either case the pager itself will need to be returned to the Pager Desk.

USA Mobility bills a month in advance for pager service and we bill a month in arrears. If eligible, a cancelled pager will receive a prorated refund for the prepaid service. It may take up to two (2) months for the billing on a pager to be completed.

New PBNs (Personal Billing Number) and LD (Long Distance) access codes can be requested using the PBN Request form and selecting the “new” option for either an AHEC or CU Denver code. Completed forms can be submitted to its.pbnrequests@ucdenver.edu. The PBN Request form is located at Personal Billing Number.

PBNs or LD access codes can be cancelled by submitting a PBN Request form and selecting the "delete" option at the top of the page. Completed forms can be returned to its.pbnrequests@ucdenver.edu. A copy of the form can be found at Personal Billing Number.

You can change the speedtype your PBN or LD access code bills to by sending an email to its.billing@ucdenver.edu. Please be sure to include the new speedtype and the name assigned to the PBN or LD access code.

Active PBNs or LD access codes can no longer be transferred between users. The department will need to submit a PBN Request form for the new user in addition to a PBN request form to delete the code for the original user. Completed PBN Request forms can be submitted to its.pbnrequests@ucdenver.edu. The PBN Request form is located at Personal Billing Number.

To make any long distance call from a campus phone you will need to have a PBN. To request a PBN please complete the PBN Request from found at Personal Billing Bumber. All completed forms can be submitted to its.pbnrequests@ucdenver.edu.

New calling cards can be requested by submitting a Calling Card Request form. The Calling Card Request form can be found at Calling Card. All completed forms can be submitted to its.pbnrequests@ucdenver.edu.

Calling card cancellation requests should be submitted to its.pbnrequests@ucdenver.edu by completing the Calling Card Request form. The Calling Card Request form can be found at Calling Card.

To change the speedtype or UCH cost center on a calling card, please send an email to its.billing@ucdenver.edu. Please be sure to include either the calling card number or the assigned user of the card and the new speedtype or UCH cost center.

Active Calling Cards can no longer be transferred between users. The department will need to submit a Calling Card Request form for the new user in addition to a Calling Card request form to delete the original calling card. To get a current listing of all PBN/LD access codes and calling cards for a specific speedtype, please send ITS Billing an email at its.billing@ucdenver.edu. Please be sure to include the speedtypes(s) in the email.

For Speedtypes: Billing Reports are emailed to the Fiscal Principal, Fiscal Manager and Primary Fiscal Staff according to the information listed in PeopleSoft for each speedtype.

For UCH cost centers: The Billing Reports are emailed according to the signature authority for each cost center maintained by UCH Finance.

If you need to change this information, please contact university Finance at **Derick.Gavidia@ucdenver.edu**. For Grants or Contracts speedtype changes, please refer to the "Award Administration Forms" on the university Finance page at http://www.ucdenver.edu/academics/research/AboutUs/GrantsContractsOffice/training-documentation/Pages/Forms.aspx. This should only be done if the responsible person for the department has changed.

For changes to be effective in the current month, change requests must be received by ITS Finance by the 15th of the month. Requests received after this date will not take effect until the following month. All requests can be sent to its.billing@ucdenver.edu.

Please contact its.billing@ucdenver.edu to request digital copies of previous month’s billing report. Please be sure to include the month and speedtype of the needed statement.

IT Services is unable to correct the billing on past months charges. Your department will need to create a JE in PeopleSoft to correct these errors. If the incorrect charge is billed monthly, you will want to contact ITS Billing at its.billing@ucdenver.edu to correct all future charges.

OCC stands for Onetime Credit or Charge. These are typically charges that do not occur monthly or may vary, depending on the service or goods provided.

Since OCCs are Onetime Charge or Credits, once they have billed we are unable to change that speedtype. Your department can create an online JE through PeopleSoft to move the charges to the correct speedtype.

We are unable to split charges for any of our services between multiple speedtypes. Your department would need to create a JE (Journal Entry) in PeopleSoft to accomplish this.

Please send an email to its.billing@ucdenver.edu to request a copy of CHAPS ticket charge. Please be sure to include the CHAPS ticket, the speedtype and month billed. The CHAPS ticket is sent to the recipient of the services as well.
