University of Colorado faculty, staff and students who have a valid parking permit (or comparable official parking identification) may take advantage of this reciprocal parking agreement. Valid parking permits include ones issued by UCB, UCCS, CU Denver and Auraria. This agreement applies only for travel related to the performance of official university business. You must display in your car window the official parking permit that was issued to you from your home campus. The CU reciprocal parking arrangement is valid for specific designated parking lots only and availability is based on "first-come, first-served."
Since ID badges are used to access the lots on the Anschutz Medical Campus, anyone who uses reciprocal parking on other campuses needs to visit the parking office in the lobby of Bldg 500 and pick up a reciprocal parking permit. Those who participate in the University of Colorado Denver or Anschutz Medical Campus parking program may do so at no additional cost for the reciprocal permit. ID badges are not considered to be a valid parking permit.
