Project Overview
New building: The Academic Building 1 is expected to be 120,000 gsf building (approximately 80,000 asf). It will be the first building built in the recently designated University of Colorado Denver neighborhood within the Auraria Campus. As such, it will be a focal point for UC Denver visitors, students, staff and faculty. The new building will be the first project located on the Auraria Campus but funded and occupied exclusively by the University of Colorado Denver.
Renovation: Additional programming and design services will be required for the approximately 68,000 asf that will be vacated by the moves to the new building. The vacated spaces will be in multiple buildings on the Denver and Auraria Campus.
