Parking and Transportation Goals
The Parking and Transportation Division strives to provide efficient and highly customer-oriented parking and transportation services to the university community. We recognize the importance of maintaining aesthetically pleasing and safe parking facilities for students, staff, faculty and visitors while equitably assigning parking privileges. Achieving the goals we set forth requires a continued assessment of the parking and transportation needs based on not only the growth of the campus but also the diverse requirements of the individual departments within the university. We aim to assure programs such as the campus circulator and shuttle service are meeting the expectations that have been outlined. Our measurements will result in a variety of effects on the campus including restructuring parking lot layout, constructing additional parking facilities as needed and providing or adjusting shuttle and circulator services.
Parking and Transportation Services manages all facets of the daily parking operations including staffing, enforcement, special events, revenue collection, the inter-campus shuttle service and the Campus Circulator.
Goal 5 Provide and maintain optimal campus access.
Objective 5.1 Continually offer the most practical and organized measure of reliable, user-friendly parking. Ensure that adequate parking is provided for peak capacity and that parking areas are utilized for maximum efficiency.
Measurement 5.1.1 Utilizing daily counts of vacant visitor parking stalls and comparing with industry best practices as benchmarks, achieve a 3% open and available stalls at average peak a.m. hours and 8% open and available stalls at average peak p.m. hours.

Objective 5.2 Provide dependable parking and transportation services and options that are responsive and available with easy access by the entire university community
Measurement 5.2.1 Utilizing Customer Satisfaction parking surveys, achieve 70% positive or neutral responses from employees/student
