Jordan Yee is currently an undergraduate student at Colorado State University in Fort Collins. He will be a junior in the Fall 2013 semester. Jordan is majoring in Biomedical Sciences in the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and plans to minor in Chinese. On campus, he is very active in the leadership aspect of Residential life, being Co-Chair President for Hall Council and recently has been given a Resident Assistant position for the Spring 2014 semester. Along with his extra-curricular involvement, Jordan has managed to maintain excellent grades, allowing him to be placed on the Dean’s List. Some of his hobbies include: working out, snowboarding, and playing the ukulele. Jordan’s healthcare background includes being both CNA and EMS certified, volunteering in a local nursing home and having the opportunity to shadow his uncle, who is a family practice physician. His long-term career goal is to become a future physician with competent communication, public speaking, and leadership skills in order to be a positive role model for the healthcare community.
Recently, Jordan has been accepted into the Undergraduate Pre-Health program for the Kaiser-Permanente track, where he will be positioned in the Radiology department. It is a privilege that his younger brother, Ryan, was also accepted into UPP.
