Sophomore graduating 2015
Kelsey Estes is a sophomore at the University of Colorado Denver who is majoring in Biology. She is currently a part of the BA/BS-MD program at CU Denver, and a Daniels Fund Scholar. Her two mentors at CU Denver, Dr. Charles Ferguson and Trishia Vasquez introduced her to UPP. She applied to UPP in order to gain valuable experience in the research aspect of the medical field, educate herself on various health disparities, and experience the professional world. She will be working this summer in a research lab at Anschutz Medical Campus and is very excited to be part of UPP. Being part of UPP and exploring her areas of interest will be a fantastic way to spend her summer, and being around such dedicated and enthusiastic people is a huge plus! Kelsey is very grateful to Kaiser Permanente and the Anschutz Medical Campus for helping her to achieve her dream of becoming a physician!
