Kyle Callahan

Undergraduate Pre-Health Program | 2012-2013 Cohort

University of Colorado Denver

B.A. International Studies/ B.S. Biological Sciences (Biology)

Junior beginning fall 2012 and 2014 expected graduation date

After changing his major over six times during the course of his freshman year, Kyle finally decided to take a pre-medical route in hopes of going to medical school and becoming an oncologist or emergency medicine physician. He is also extremely outgoing and loves interacting with people so it should be no surprise that Kyle spent his sophomore year volunteering at a facility that promotes community awareness and aims to positively shape the lives of underprivileged youths in the downtown Denver area. After learning about many of his friends being affiliated with the Undergraduate Pre-health Program, Kyle decided to apply to gain more experience and exposure in the medical field and be a part of a cohort of students with like-minded aspirations and struggles. Kyle is also a student in the University Honors and Leadership program on the Downtown campus and a part of El Pomar’s Student Leadership Experience.
