Harraz MohdReza is a sophomore at the University of Northern Colorado majoring in Biology with an emphasis in pre-health and biomedical sciences. He will be graduating with the class of 2015. The recent loss of his beloved father, due to cancer, has galvanized his ambition in pursuing medicine. It has given him an excellent perspective of what it feels like to be a patient, a family member, and even a healthcare provider. These experiences will soon prove invaluable to him.
He is greatly pleased and humbled to have been given the opportunity to be a part of UPP. As a first-generation immigrant, his parents came here to provide their children the best opportunities that were not possible in Malaysia. Harraz’s goal is to fulfill his father’s dying wish. He is cognisant of this once in a life-time opportunity and is on a mission to make the most of it -- not let it slip away.
