Tamara Lhungay is a third year biology major and a leadership minor at CU Denver. She is a member of Pre-med without Boarders, University Honors and Leadership, El Pomar Student Leadership Experience, BA/BS-MD Program, UPP, and other programs. She loves maintaining a healthy lifestyle with yoga, swimming, skiing, sailing, hiking, and basically anything else outside. Playing violin, Tibetan independence, traveling, concerts, and are among her interests. She is proud of her Tibetan-Dominican-Jamaican heritage, and has been working to reconnect with these roots lately. She believes her strengths are her compassion, her diverse interests and background that enables her to connect to a variety of people, and her drive for constant self improvement. She is honored to be affiliated with Kaiser Permanente and Anschutz Medical Campus because they are blazing the trail of modern healthcare. Additionally, she has the opportunity to meet inspiring people who share her passion for healthcare.
