Yen-Ha Hoang is currently a senior at University of Colorado Denver. She is currently pursuing a French major while taking the pre-requisite classes with the goal of applying to medical school. She applied for the Undergraduate Pre-health Program because she wanted to know more about health disparities and to be able to experience all the different fields within healthcare. Through her experiences over Summer 2011, she has learned to develop new ways to study more effectively and has more confidence to pursue her goals of becoming a physician. Being affiliated with the Anschutz Medical Campus and Kaiser is inexpressible. The experiences that UPP provides cannot be compared to anything else; it truly is life changing.
