Belinda Gaines is currently a senior at CU Denver and majoring in biology. Besides being a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, Belinda has always wanted to be a dentist and decided to apply for the UPP program to help her achieve her goal. Belinda was lucky enough to have the privilege of shadowing at the dental school throughout the summer and is very thankful for her UPP experience! She takes great pride in being affiliated with Kaiser Permanente and Anschutz Medical Campus because she feels as though they create and employ some of the best health care providers. At school, she is a part of the Future Doctors of Denver club, pre-dental club and also loves participating in Zumba. Belinda loves the color yellow, watching gymnastics, shopping at Forever 21 and eating mangoes. In the future, Belinda hopes to open her own dental practice in an under-served area.
