Michelle Cho is a second-year Senior at CU Boulder pursuing a degree in Psychology and a Certificate in Neuroscience. She aspires to obtain a M.D./M.P.H. degree to make a difference in health care policy reform as a clinician and researcher. She was motivated to apply for UPP and to pursue a career in healthcare largely by her personal involvement with the health care system. She earned her Emergency Medical Technician certification and found that she had a true passion for patient care. She has explored her research interests for the Psychology department in the Jones Lab, CREST (Clinical Research, Education, Services, and Treatment), and the Humor Research Lab and is currently working on her honors thesis. Michelle strives to raise awareness about health and wellness and is the President of the Student Association for Pre-Health Professionals, volunteers for the Boulder County AIDS Project, and enjoys singing, dancing, sports, food, and conversation.
