Brandon is a dynamic, fun, competent, personable aspiring young public health professional with a passion for social justice and health equity in underserved populations. His reasons for applying to the UPP were to gain professional, personal, and academic enrichment to further his career goals and make a difference in public health. He is actively involved in a host of academic and community organizations. The access to an extensive health professional network as well as community members has resulted in many connections for further professional, personal, and academic enrichment. Having the opportunity to be affiliated with Kaiser and University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is an honor and a privilege that is humbly appreciated. He won the Happy Spirit award during the summer, which was demonstrated through a happy, open personality. He is very engaging, knowledgeable about a variety of subjects, and a very spirited!
