The Objectives of the Committee Are:
- Assessing the cultural climate of the university as it pertains to opportunities for multicultural faculty and staff for academic advancement and productivity
- Offer training programs and leadership development that support recruitment and retention efforts of staff and faculty, unearth unconscious biases within the university’s culture, and foster a nurturing environment for people of diverse backgrounds.
- Network with current faculty and staff to recruit others that are interested in the University of Colorado Denver.
- With the assistance of the Human Resources Office, we have been able to assign key person(s) or offices to serve on search committees.
