The President's Office at the University of Colorado invites proposals for student funding from the President's Fund for the Support of Student Diversity Programming.
The fund supports both traditional and innovative projects that enhance ethnic, cultural, and gender diversity within the University of Colorado’s students. In traditional areas, proposals might include requests for:
Exhibits, performances, productions, workshops
Ethnic/cultural celebrations designed to enhance the university community’s knowledge, awareness, and appreciation of various cultures
Travel funds to strengthen strategies for student networking, professional development, and participation at relevant state, regional, or national conferences
Visiting scholars/artists/lecturers

Guidelines for Proposals
- The proposal narrative must not exceed one typed, double-spaced page. Must contain who the responsible party for the event/travel is and a concise budget for event/travel. (Additional and relevant information regarding the event may be included in appendices)
- Projects will be required to provide evidence (letter) that there is a fiscal match (contribution) from host campus
- Evidence that the proposed project(s) will benefit the entire campus will receive priority
- Project(s) must show evidence that the group/individual will share the information with campus
- Student groups must be recognized as a bona fide student organization by the host campus
- Staff members who are submitting proposals on behalf of the students must be employees of CU
- Projects/individuals must submit, within 2 weeks of planned event, a written report to the Anschutz Medical Campus Office of Diversity and Inclusion (Vicky Saulsberry) who then will get it to the Provost's Office. Failure to submit this report may be grounds for denying future funding requests
