What is Summer Bridge? The Summer Bridge Program focuses on the success of incoming freshmen by preparing them with knowledge and skills to prepare them for their college career, so they can achieve their academic endeavors. You will be exposed to campus resources, college success strategies and participate in team building activities. By participating in this program, you will connect with a support team and be assigned a peer coach that will assist you throughout your college career.

Why Attend the Summer Bridge Program? IT”S FREE: For the first time ever! We are offering this program at no cost to the student, once your application has been approved and you’re accepted; only a commitment to attend all the events and workshop sessions is required.

The Summer Bridge Program will provide you the chance to become adjusted to college life before your first semester by:

  • Getting a head start in preparing for the college experience.
  • Learning about college resources and becoming familiar with the campus.
  • Getting a head start on the expectations of college writing.
  • Experiencing new adventures and make new friends.
