CITT: Custom Web Projects

CITT

What We Do

At CITT we design and develop innovative and user-friendly web sites, custom web applications, and online courses. We are committed to ongoing research of educational trends, technologies, and methodologies to enhance our skills and products. Many non-profit organizations have benefited from our experience and expertise.

Please visit Our Work page to see examples of our web sites, custom web applications, and online courses.

CITT develops web sites that deliver quality user-experience, content written for the web, and functionality. Our team continues to research the latest web design methods and technology, including accessibility, web standards, cross-browser compatibility, and creative design. We also train our clients on how to update their web site, which allows them to maintain and edit their site after it is launched.

We offer custom web applications to manage any type of content on the web. Whether it be file management of images or documents, or a consolidated and secure data management solution for administration, we've completed projects across the spectrum.

Our web application solutions will:

  • Extend new services to your clients, customers, or students through your web site in the form of calendars, blogs, wikis, forums, bulletin boards, content management systems, learning management systems, and other web publishing systems.
  • Streamline business processes by creating centrally located, globally accessible, and secure applications with advanced features including multi-tiered user accounts and access, email systems, dashboards, and workflows.

Our custom projects include:

  • Online certification tests,
  • Web-based syllabus development tools, and
  • Searchable text and multimedia databases

CITT creates online courses for a variety of learners. We provide just in time training modules designed to be interactive, self-paced, and available anytime, anywhere. Over 70,000 users have completed CITT courses. Over 90% of our students in each course surveyed have rated the course as satisfactory or very satisfactory, and as (very) usable and (very) navigable. Similarly, over 90% of students have passed each course with a set passing score.

We owe our success to a simple formula:

  • Front-end analysis of learner, environmental, political and technical course factors;
  • Brief, modularized courses that trainees can complete in less than 30 minutes;
  • Web pages of less than 180 words;
  • Scenario-based practice every 3-6 screens, and
  • Web-appropriate writing with active voice, action-based explanations, stories, and humor.

CITT’s team combines their instructional design expertise with their web programming knowledge to create dynamic web training.
