Welcome to our campus neighborhood! The University of Colorado Denver is not just a school or an institution. It's a vibrant, bustling urban neighborhood complete with its own unique identity and, of course, with incredible opportunities for education and growth.
A Gateway to the City

There are three institutions on the Auraria Campus, and CU Denver occupies the eastern portion of the campus. Our neighborhood begins at 11th Street and extends right across Speer Boulevard, connecting the Auraria Campus to downtown Denver via the "Education Corridor."
The "Education Corridor" along Lawrence Street links the Auraria Campus to Denver's urban center, where CU Denver students take advantage of opportunities not only to learn and study but to work, intern, eat and play!
A Hub of Education

Passing motorists on Speer Boulevard get a glimpse into the heart of CU Denver, outstanding for its plentiful academic offerings, its high-quality faculty and its important role in the local community.
A diverse student body fills the classrooms and halls of our on-campus buildings:
A Space for Growth
As our university grows and evolves, so does the space we inhabit. We have big plans for our campus neighborhood, including new distinguishing geographic features, signage, buildings and more. We hope you'll come check it out!
