Several months ago the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus was designated as 7th in the nation on the list of “Best Places to Work for Postdocs,” by The Scientist magazine.
Not only is the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus a great place to work for our postdocs, but also provides great synergy with the burgeoning bioscience industry in Colorado.
Recently, the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus showcased the next generations of inventors/scientists/intellectual prowess during its first-ever postdoctoral research day. Through poster sessions and presentations, these postdocs shared their research findings and demonstrated their scientific vision with colleagues as well as members of the Colorado Bioscience Association. Many members of the bioscience association are looking for employees with specific intellectual skills and knowledge, and jobs or partnerships which could potentially emerge from the discussions that began at Friday’s postdoctoral research day. Colorado’s bioscience industry is listed as one of the seven top industry clusters being promoted by the Metro Denver Economic Development Council.
Not only is the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus a great place to work for our postdocs, but also provides great synergy with the burgeoning bioscience industry in Colorado. The relationship between the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and the Colorado Bioscience Association is one that could result in cures for the future, generate tax revenues for the state and develop the foundation of this emerging industry for decades to come.
