This holiday season, we encourage you to participate in our fifth annual CU in the Community campaign.
The campaign, which runs until the end of February, allows you to take a half-day of work time to volunteer with the organization of your choice. It includes faculty, staff, students and alumni from both the Anschutz Medical Campus and the Denver Campus.
This year’s highlighted partner is the Food Bank of the Rockies
, a nonprofit that distributes food to the hungry. Our previous partners have included Habitat for Humanity, Goodwill, and the Colorado I Have a Dream Foundation.
You are welcome to volunteer with Food Bank of the Rockies or to select another organization that resonates with your priorities. Either way, we highly encourage departments to volunteer in a group activity. It can be a fun way to bring your colleagues together outside the normal work setting—and have a great time—while contributing to our mission of improving the health and well-being of people in Colorado.
Thanks for all you do, both for our university and for our community.
