Details: The Denver metro area is in the forefront nationally in work on urban farming issues with various production models, training, innovative zoning/planning efforts and collaborations. The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences will host a half-day symposium on sustainable urban agriculture. This event will feature a moderated panel discussion on the future of urban agriculture focused on the dynamic Denver scene followed by a cooking demonstration by Chef Michael Scott, Lead Chef Instructor, Escoffier School of Culinary Arts.
