Field trip opportunities are available and appropriate for upper elementary, middle school, and high school students.
This event is an ideal setting to inspire students’ interest in science and math, to inform students about careers in STEM, and to give them a chance to meet representatives from businesses, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations.
Students will have opportunities to engage with peers in exploring the principles of science in math as applied to the real-world through activities. Exciting exhibits from past years have included:
- Rocketry by the Space Foundation
- Animal exhibits by the Denver Zoo
- Butterfly Pavilion bringing “Rosie the Tarantula” and her other invertebrate friends
- Spacelab Planetarium
- Computer simulations
- Various hands-on student demonstrations
This event is free to the public.
Note: Bagged lunches will NOT be available for purchase. There are concession stands within the Event Hall should you choose to stay during lunch hours. Open floor space will be available for students to gather and eat lunch, but the Convention Center does not allow attendees to eat outside of the exhibit hall (unless outside of the building).
