The university is proud to be a partner in the Colorado STEM Network, the statewide coalition of businesses, government, education and community groups. Concentration of the state’s focus on STEM education is vital to the development of tomorrow’s business leaders, scientists, researchers and educators. CU Denver is playing an important role in raising the standards of STEM education and in preparing a workforce that is ready to meet the demands of a global, technology-based economy.
The University of Colorado Denver Office of P-20 Education Initiatives in partnership with the Colorado STEM Network hosts STEM education webinars. The series highlights current STEM issues that are “hot topics” in Colorado and nationwide. Webinars are hosted in partnership with various groups and institutions such as the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
