CREATE Health

CREATE Health is a year-long correspondence program with a one-month summer intensive experience. Participating undergraduate students will strengthen their applications to professional schools and programs by receiving hands-on training and exposure to a variety of health careers, by receiving advanced test preparation from our partners at Kaplan Test Prep, and by cultivating a greater understanding of current issues and events that are shaping the field of healthcare today. The CREATE Health Scholars program focuses on primary care and includes student interests spanning Behavioral Health, Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Public Health, and Research.

In addition to the CREATE Health Scholars program, CREATE Health Faculty Advisors is currently seeking faculty and advisors from Colorado universities, colleges, post-secondary institutions and high schools to form a coordinated network to share consistent messaging about student pre-health advising, and preparation for health professions and health professional school. CREATE Health Faculty Advisors participate in a yearly workshop and networking event, learn about what exactly will be required of their advisees as students pursue careers in healthcare, and discuss questions and various interest topics with professional school students and admissions personnel.
