As smart tablets become more common in the classroom, it's important to understand all the access options available for students with disabilities. This session will provide an overview and comparison of the accessibility features that are built into iPad devices running iOS 7, and other tablets running the Android platform. In addition, students will explore alternative access methods available for those who cannot use the standard touch features and gestures of a smart tablet. Students will learn about scanning options available on the iPad, and mouse emulation options available on Android devices. For a hands-on experience, bring your iPad or Android device with you.
