Description

This program is designed for healthcare professionals who provide patient care at all levels in transplantation. The course is designed for, but not limited to, surgeons, hepatologists, nephrologists, nurses, social workers and pharmacists. The University of Colorado faculty and guest speakers will address controversial topics in transplantation, including access to transplantation, recipient selection, MELD and new models for organ allocation, novel immunosuppressive strategies, new and emerging treatments for HCV and HBV in transplant recipients, and options for patients with hepatocellular carcinoma or cholangiocarcinoma.
