Bio: Rose Segawa has been with the School of Public Affairs since January of 2006. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of Colorado Denver. Rose provides support to faculty, staff, and students in the areas of: procurement; accounts payable/receivable; travel accounting; communicates, and review financial information; makes accounting entries; ensures transactions are in compliance with all applicable University, State, and Federal policies; and administers grants and contracts (post award) for the Buechner Institute for Governance; and supervision of the SPA administrative assistant who is in charge of general office management.
Rose is a member of the Colorado Fiscal Managers Association and a student member of the Colorado Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
Currently, Rose is working on her Master of Science in Accounting at the Business School, University of Colorado Denver. Rose was raised in Fresno, CA and relocated to Denver in 2001. Rose is an avid Denver Broncos fan and enjoys reading and skiing. Rose has a Shiba-Inu named Yoshi and currently resides in Aurora with her husband.
