CYE is working in partnership with the Mayor's Office for Education and Children and Assets for Colorado Youth to explore the development of a strategic plan of action to make Denver the country's leading child-friendly city.

On June 13, 2006 we hosted a meeting of Denver key leaders meeting. Work groups focused on answering the following three questions:

  • What is your vision for a child-friendly city?
  • How do we ensure a broad-based participatory process to develop the vision, including specifically the voices of children, youth, and families?
  • What do we need to get there?
