The College of Architecture and Planning (CAP) is dedicated to continuing its tradition of educational excellence and helping students to achieve all of your academic and professional goals. As such, part of the application process is to familiarize yourself with the standards that we use to assess a student’s potential to succeed and thrive in this program.
While assessment tests (GRE, etc.) and past grade point averages (GPA) are quantifiable and objective methods to predict success, there are also vital skills that are more subjective and non-linear (creativity, dedication, etc.) that are just as important. So part of this process is to assess your strengths and abilities that will equal success in the Ph.D. degree program.
