Student Events & Updates

Week of December 9
 Photo of the Week
On November 21st, fifteen nursing students and eight CU College of Nursing alumni participated in a mentoring event hosted by the CU Nursing Alumni Association and the CU Nursing Peer Mentor Group. Students had an opportunity for one-on-one conversations with the alumni, as well as group and panel discussions.
Madi Bambauer, Class of 2020, Peer Mentor Coordinator: “One-on-One with Our Alums was a really exciting opportunity for the Peer Mentor Program. It's the first time we've collaborated with the CU Nursing Alumni Association to provide mentoring beyond students in the nursing program to registered practicing nurses. Gaining insight about how former students have transitioned from the College of Nursing to clinical practice and additionally, between roles within clinical practice and into advanced education is invaluable.”
For more information on this mentoring event and future alumni events, please contact Katelyn Nolan at
