This is no ordinary university and no ordinary scholarship.


Denver Bound Scholarship

 

Besides your test scores and academic record, something as simple as your home state may qualify you for our Denver Bound Scholarship. This scholarship recognizes the academic achievement, extracurricular activities and leadership of out-of-state high school graduates and transfer students. Awards range from $8,000 to $64,000 over four years for freshmen and $4,000 to $32,000 over two years for transfer students. Only students enrolling for the fall semester are eligible.

In order to receive the Denver Bound Scholarship you will need to take part in one of our Scholarship Interview Weekends . Qualified students will be invited to interview once they have been admitted to the university.

*Each student who attends one of the three weekends is guaranteed the minimum amount of $4,000.00 per year (up to four years for freshman and two years for transfer students)

 

**The Denver Bound Scholarship is available for the fall term only.

 

Qualifications for scholarship application are as follows:

Freshman:

    GPA  and   ACT or  SAT
    4.0   21   1000
    3.9   22   1010-1040
    3.8   23   1050-1070
    3.7   24   1080-1110
    3.6   25   1120-1150
    3.5   26 and above   1160 and above

Transfers:

    • Transfer cumulative GPA (from all colleges attended) of at least 3.5
    • Have earned fewer than 60 credit hours at the time of enrollment

 

Requirements for the Denver Bound Scholarship

  • Complete the one-page online application
  • Submit two letters of recommendation addressing your leadership skills and community service contributions (from academic references).
  • Submit a 4x6 photo (head shot preferred) which is used for identification purposes.
