Welcome to the clinical research education page. The clinical research education effort is a collaboration between the University of Colorado Denver (UCD) and the Colorado Clinical Translational Sciences Institute (CCTSI). Together, UCD and the CCTSI work to provide the campus, affiliates and community access to clinical trials training.
Within this site you’ll find links, be able to register, and learn about all clinical research education opportunities available at UCD.
Clinical Research Training
1.
Clinical Research Core Curriculum: This consists of instructor led courses on all aspects of conducting a clinical research trials, from the basics of human subjects regulations to writing an informed consent, preparing for an FDA audit, and recruiting to your clinical trials, plus much more. These courses are offered throughout the year and repeat regularly. We recommend taking each of the courses offered, either as a refresher or as part of your initial training. Registration to these courses is not required, but recommended. Don’t worry, though, if you haven’t registered, and it works for your schedule to attend, please come!
2.
Clinical Research Forum: This forum is a gathering of clinical research professionals: investigators, coordinators, data managers and administrators. The purpose is to network with peers, exchange pertinent knowledge and improve standardized practices across our research community.
3.
Clinical Research Professional Lecture Series: This is a one-hour lecture presented by experts in a variety of fields. The topics are intended to provide our clinical research professionals with an opportunity to learn about the various treatment and research programs on campus and in the community.
