Insurance Information

The university does not carry insurance for students. However, specific programs, including university programs, may carry different types of insurance. Each traveler is responsible for understanding any insurance provided by the program. Equally, each traveler is responsible for securing any additional insurance for their individual requirements.

   

Travel to “High Risk” Destinations

When the US State Department issues a “Travel Warning” for a country or area, student travel to that specific area is suspended. Students may appeal the warning by following the Appeal Process document.

   

Register with State Department

CU Denver requests that all US citizen students traveling abroad register with the US Embassy.

   

Student International Travel Policy

Student Travel to Countries with a Travel Warning, Travel Health Warning or to Sanctioned Nations.
