Study Abroad Programs with International Business Relevance

China: International College at Beijing - students have the opportunity to study and live in Beijing, China. Unique among university programs, American and Chinese students study together in English at China Agricultural University’s International College at Beijing by University of Colorado Denver appointed faculty.

China: Window on China - a Maymester business field study in Beijing, Shanghai and Nanjing with visits to Suzhou to provide students with an introduction to Chinese history and an overview of modern China’s business, political and economic environment

Grenada: Sustainability in the Caribbean - a Maymester geography/environmental science study tour to explore sustainability in Granada in the context of a developing country including hands-on experience with devising and implementing possible solutions to locally-needed research questions and agendas

Ireland: Leadership & Entrepreneurship - a two week course that provides an overview of key leadership principles for creating strategy, managing teams, and explores international entrepreneurial opportunities

Tanzania: Paleoanthropology Field School - Human Origins - a four week anthropology field study focusing on human origin, climate change, sustainability, health geography, medical anthropology, GIS, and culture of the Maasai of the Ngorongoro Highlands in northern Tanzania.

Turkey: Tourism on the Bodrum Penisula - an urban planning course that studies the diverse effects and manifestations of tourism development in Bodrum, a peninsula in the southwest corner of Turkey along the Aegean Sea.

United Kingdom: Global and Sports Management Study - a Maymester business course in London to provide high level access to exciting global organizations in the sports and entertainment industry

Study Abroad through the Business School - field trips led by UC Denver Business School faculty

Study Abroad through the College of Architecture and Planning - a graduate level architecture and/or urban planning foreign program to study the process of design in another culture as well as shedding light on your own perceptions and attitudes toward design. Sites have included Prague, Helsinki, Paris, Beijing and Madrid. Most recently in summer programs the College has offered An Integrated Urban Design Studio in Turkey and studies of the Architecture and Urban Context of Rome and The Research Design of the Roman Built Environment.

Study Abroad through Modern Languages - programs to study the native languages in Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, Cuba, Germany, Mexico and Spain, offered by other universities and endorsed by UC Denver's Modern Languages Department
