Enhance & Advance Your Practice

Continuing Education Programs

The University of Colorado College of Nursing is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Colorado Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Our Mission:

The mission of the Continuing Education (CE) program within the Office of Lifelong Learning is to offer high quality continuing education programs targeted to nurses, particularly those in advanced practice roles. Programs will offer evidence based, clinically relevant content focused on outcomes and advancing the profession. We also strive to enhance the academic mission of the College of Nursing by working with faculty to identify and implement programs for clinical practice partners, nurse educators, nurse scientists, graduate students, alumni and others who interface with the college and support lifelong learning.

We actively engage inter-professional educational (IPE) endeavors here on campus. Physician Assistants and others are always welcome to attend our programs, and some programs will offer CME credit in addition to nursing contact hour credit.
