Health Care Informatics Programs


The health care informatics specialty provides learners with access to learning opportunities to earn a certificate or a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in health care informatics. The Master of Science in Nursing is targeted towards nurses who want to specialize in health care informatics. You must have a BSN or an Associate Degree in Nursing with a baccalaureate degree in another field to apply for the MS program. The Post MS Certificate is offered to nurse that already have a MS in nursing and want to complement and expand their expertise in health care informatics. The Health Care Informatics Certificate is targeted toward health care professionals in nursing, medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, allied health and those working in the health care arena. It will provide them essential knowledge and skills in informatics to facilitate with the adoption and implementation of health information technology tools to provide safe and quality health care.
