The Qualitative Methods Core at COHO is dedicated to building qualitative research knowledge and skills through shared expertise across the University of Colorado Denver campuses and with community research partners. The Core provides mentorship, training, and research assistance to faculty, investigators, and trainees interested in qualitative research. Core-affiliated faculty are available for mentorship and consultation on qualitative research methods, theory, and application. The Core also provides regular training on a variety of qualitative methods to interested members of the university community and community partners. These methods include, but are not limited to, in-depth interviews, key informant interviews, focus groups, ethnography, and grounded theory. Finally, the Core provides resources, including research staff trained in qualitative data collection and analysis, to faculty and investigators whose work involves qualitative components. Those interested in learning more about qualitative research or accessing the resources provided by the Core should contact Dr. Karen Albright, Qualitative Methods Core Leader. View QRMF webpage.
