The COHO/COR Biostatistics Methods Core provides methods expertise for the design, conduct, analysis, and reporting of health outcomes studies. It consists of PhD biostatisticians and Master’s-level data analysts. Dr. Diane Fairclough (Core Director), Dr. Miriam Dickinson (Associate Core Director), and Ms. Brenda Beaty head up the biostatistics core.

- clinical trials implementation
The Core leadership works very closely with the analysts to provide investigators with thorough, cutting-edge analyses of their data. They serve as advisors in study design, power estimation, appropriate analytic methods for specific data sets and co-investigators on research grants. The methods core also researches and publishes articles on innovative methods.
