Current Research Studies at CHN

Volunteer for a Research Study

The Center for Human Nutrition (CHN) is a research facility studying various aspects of weight management.  The following is a list of current research studies that are seeking research subjects.  If you would like to be considered for a study, please use the contact information provided at the end of each description.

Clinical Trials at CHN:

CHN conducts multiple clinical trials each year in order to provide novel treatment options to the community. We are at the forefront of new developments in the fields of nutrition and obesity. We investigate new medications, supplements, devices and diet and exercise regimes for the treatment of diabetes, obesity, metabolic syndrome, and overall health.  Joining a clinical trial provides participants with the opportunity for a thorough assessment of their condition, regular follow-up visits, and often comprehensive physical and laboratory examinations. Additionally, subjects may have the opportunity to access new or experimental treatments before they are commercially available.

To learn about the clinical trials being conducted at the CHN, please call our study line at 303-724-9198. Many of our studies require that you meet specific body mass index (BMI) criteria. In order to check your BMI, go to http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/.

For information on other clinical research studies, please visit the University of Colorado Clinical Trials website.
