Welcome to the University of Colorado School of Medicine on the Anschutz Medical Campus. We are a Top Ten Medical School in primary care, pediatrics, family medicine and rural medicine, and offer physical therapy and physician assistant programs.

The Colorado Nutrition Obesity Research Center (funded by NIH/NIDDK grant P30 DK048520) has had an important impact with the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus by successfully fostering collaboration among members of its research base, promoting interdisciplinary research and fostering development of young investigators.  NORC researchers continue to be successful in attracting funding and in publishing research results.  The NORC maintains a Research Base which is comprised of over one hundred researchers who use one of our core laboratories (Energy Balance or Metabolic) or who are working with a principal investigator who is doing so.  Our next funding cycle includes development of the Weight Management Clinical Core, providing resources for weight loss and weight management.
