Michael Ames, MBI


Michael is the first point-of-contact for Cancer Center members wishing to discuss services provided by RISR.  He joined the Cancer Center in 2009 and provides day-to-day oversight of all RISR personnel, projects and activities. 

Michael’s primary technical expertise is design and development of complex database applications for scientific research, with emphasis on data integration, information analysis and software usability.


Jessica Bondy, MHA


Jessica has been the Director of the Research Informatics Shared Resource since its inception. She provides strategic direction for RISR, ensuring that RISR priorities are designed to meet the CU Cancer Center's present and long-term needs, and is pivotal in facilitating our collaborations within the Cancer Center, across campus, and nationally.


Jason Braddy, AA

Server Administrator

 Jason is responsible for design, maintenance and support of server-related technologies required to provide efficient, secure and reliable hosting for RISR databases.  In this role, he also serves the primary liaison between the Cancer Center and the university’s Information Technology Services (ITS) department, ensuring that the Cancer Center’s server and network architecture are optimally aligned with the infrastructure provided by the University.


Ken Claussen, MBA

Systems Analyst

Ken supports RISR’s customers in a wide range of technologies and software systems.  In addition, he works closely with the Administration  and CIC Shared Resource to design and develop reports for data quality monitoring, enrollment tracking, and grants submissions.


Dayi Deng, MS

Software Developer

Dayi is the primary technical point of contact for users of RISR systems supporting molecular pathology. He also serves as the point of contact for our collaborations with the Group Banking Committee and Southwest Oncology Group.


Stacy Grolnic

Clinical Research Informaticist

Stacy is responsible for support and training for TES, RISR's clinical trial management system. She also drives process and quality improvement initiatives to ensure efficient and accurate system usage.



Rodney Huddleston, AA

Workstation Support Technician

Rodney provides direct, hands-on support to cancer center members and employees for all of their desktop, laptop, and mobile computing needs.  In addition, he provides training for Cancer Center employees and members in a variety of office- and research-related software systems


Brian Logue, MS

Workstation Support Manager

Brian leads RISR’s workstation support team in providing direct, hands-on support to Cancer Center members and employees in deployment and support of computer workstations, laptops and mobile devices.   His responsibilities also include ongoing advancement of RISR’s workstation support procedures and tools to ensure the Cancer Center’s growing workstation computing needs can be met efficiently and effectively.


Mindy Walters, MS

Lead Software Developer

Mindy is responsible for development and maintenance of new systems in support of Cancer Center research and Administration.  and serves as the mentor for new software development staff  As RISR’s lead software developer, she also plays a key role in the recruitment, training and retention of RISR’s software development staff.
