Mission Statement
To present courses in response to the interests of the dental community, to enforce the highest standards of instructional quality and to ensure diversity in programs consistent with the University's commitment to academic freedom.
Goals
Promote and encourage continual and lifelong education for the dental team by presenting outstanding programs by recognized clinicians and educators who are experts in their respective fields of endeavor.
Disseminate new information and advancing technology for practical application by the dental team.
Encourage and assist dental team members to achieve higher levels of skills, knowledge, and continued competence.
Provide continuing education programs that enable participants to provide and sustain improved levels of care to their patients and their community.
Accreditation
The University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider.
ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry.
The University of Colorado is a member of the Association for Continuing Dental Education.
