About Us

Physics, as the most fundamental of the sciences, is the base on which many other disciplines rest. Physicist's way of thinking "outside the box" has resulted in the development of a multitude of technologies that enhance our lives. This tradition lives on at UC Denver, where students work elbow-to-elbow with their professor mentors in substantive applied research experiences.

Why Physics

The physics major is one of the few academic degree programs that prepares its graduates for an amazing array of careers. Physicists are renowned for their logical thought, analytical minds, problem solving skills and mathematical ability.
