The College of Liberal Arts and Science utilizes a dual advising system, which means as a declared CLAS major you will have two advisors to guide you through your education:
- Your CLAS Academic Advisor handles issues such as clarification of university policies and procedures, core curriculum advising, transfer credits evaluation for core satisfaction, and academic early alert, suspension and probation.
- Your Faculty Advisor will work with you on the requirements within your major / minor department.
Advising is a shared responsibility between you and your assigned advisors. Your preparation and our knowledge come together to facilitate success.
